We’ll fill each bag with four to six different products from some of your favorite Colfax businesses (and an exclusive item from us at Colfax Ave, too). Scroll down to see which businesses are participating.

What’s in the bag?
In addition to products from local businesses, each bag will include a lavender-scented candle celebrating Denver’s first Queer cultural district, Lavender Hill!
These candles were locally-made by Persephone Candleworks, a Queer-owned candle shop based in Castle Rock.

DVSN West, located at Colfax and Vine, is a boutique that brings together streetwear, hip hop and Denver’s outdoor culture through its physical space and product.
Flora House Denver is a ‘Modern’ Bed & Breakfast where the timeless charm of a B&B is blended with the updated style and conveniences we all love at Boutique Hotels, housed in an immaculately restored Victorian Mansion.
Green Door Fitness is a boutique gym setting with personal attention from Certified Trainers. From spin to strength, they’ll help you reach your fitness goals.
Illegal Pete’s the home of the burrito. They’ve been serving up loaded mission style burritos, salads, nachos, quesadillas and their signature queso for 26 years, and doing lots of good for the community along the way,

303 Boards has supported skateboarding since 1997. Colorado owned and operated, 303 operates out of two locations – one right here on Colfax and one in Boulder. They’ve got all of your skateboarding needs covered, from boards to apparel.
Balanced Root Apothecary is the newest edition to The Roots Wellness Collective on Ogden St. Balanced Root Apothecary has the widest selection of organic bulk herbs and high-quality local products in the Denver, Colorado area. They specialize in hand-crafted herbal products like herbal tea blends, tinctures, fire ciders, healing salves and more.
Denver’s artisanal Belgian-style brewery, featuring a full line of traditional and Belgian-inspired brews, hand-crafted in small batches. Co-founders Charlie Gottenkieny and Ryan Evans have a long-standing passion for the fine handcrafted beers of Belgium. Their second location, Bruz Off Fax, opened in 2019 at Colfax and York.
Conspiracy Theory Tattoo is Denver’s newest elite custom tattoo shop located on Colfax and attached to the Learned Lemur oddities shop! They’ve got a crew of award-winning artists who specialize in everything from realism to Neo traditional, pop culture to art nouveau, and everything in between.
The Corner Beet
Neighborhood juicery & vegetarian cafe specializing in cold-pressed juice, acai bowls, smoothies, toast, and coffee with vegan options for almost every item. Corner Beet uses 100% organic produce, local whenever possible.
The Learned Lemur is Colorado’s oldest and most authentic oddities shop dealing exclusively in odd, unusual and macabre antiques for over fifteen years. They offer only true antiques, affordable authentic skulls, unique taxidermy, and so much more.
Pete’s Kitchen
The 24-hour diner was taken over by Pete Contos in 1988. This Colfax staple is a comfortable diner serving classic American dishes with a twist on some Mexican and Greek favorites. The Kitchen is most well-known for their breakfast burrito supreme which Pete created in 1989. If you’re looking for a quick and affordable meal, stop by and try some of Pete’s famous dishes.
Rooted Heart Yoga & Wellness
Rooted Heart Yoga and Wellness was born out of a desire to bring a health and wellness resource to the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Their goal is to create a community space that offers opportunities for increased well-being, connection, and fun at an affordable price.
