Shuttered Venue Operators Grant
The Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG) program was established through the Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits and Venues Act and amended by the American Rescue Plan Act to provide over $16 billion in economic relief to target industries. The deadline to apply is August 20, 2021.
Eligible entities include: live venue operators or promoters, theatrical producers, live performing arts organization operators, relevant museum operators, zoos and aquariums who meet specific criteria, motion picture theater operators, and talent representatives. Emergency Assistance for Hospitality Workers
The City of Denver has teamed up with the Colorado Restaurant Foundation (CRF) to fund an emergency assistance grant program for hospitality workers facing an unanticipated hardship.
This specific grant was created to support Denver residents who are currently or were previously employed in a Colorado restaurant or hotel for at least 90 days who are currently unemployed or underemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic or have experienced negative economic impacts due to being diagnosed with COVID-19.
CRF provides emergency assistance fund grants up to $500 for those that are unemployed or underemployed and $1,000 to those who have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Employee Retention Tax Credit
The ERC is a tax credit from the latest stimulus designed to support local businesses impacted by Covid-19. Similar to the PPP, these are government funds that do not need to be paid back.
The ERC pays out up to $5,000 per employee for 2020, and up to $7,000 per employee for 2021. Learn more and apply here.

Searchable Funding Sources is a downloadable spreadsheet from the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT). It can help you find grants, loans, technical assistance, and other resources depending on your industry and need. The spreadsheet will help you search by County, Industry, Application Deadline, type of resource, etc. and is updated daily. So, if you download it, check back often to see what’s new.
