Volunteer Opportunity: Help Make our Neighborhood Great

Admit it. You’ve gone past some part of your neighborhood and gloated, “this is a great block!” And, you’ve probably gone by another part and complained to yourself, “why is this like this?”
We (like, you!) can change what’s bad and amplify the good in our neighborhoods. Here’s how:
Volunteer for 90 minutes on Saturday February 10th from 11:00am to 12:30pm. We’ll be working with the City to “score” the quality of the streetscape.
With a short training, clipboards and pens, we’ll spend 45 to 60 minutes walking a few blocks in the Colfax-17th Ave blocks to rate the characteristics that contribute to vibrant, memorable, and pedestrian-friendly destinations in our community.
Your help will inform the work of local community members who are gathering feedback and data to create a neighborhood vision for the next 15 – 20 years.
